Moon Milk

These are the ingredients for a portion of Moon Milk

Milk: 200 ml vegetable or animal milk

The spices: A pinch of cinnamon, some nutmeg, cardamom, turmeric, salt and pepper. If you have real saffron at hand, you can also add a few threads of it to the milk.

Other ingredients: One teaspoon coconut oil and 2 teaspoons honey.

But the big secret of Moon Milk is Ashwagandha.

Ashwagandha tastes pretty bitter, but you only need about a quarter teaspoon of this powder for a large cup of milk.

How to make Moon Milk

You heat your milk and add all of the above ingredients to the milk for the gorgeous taste and the great health effect. You only add the honey later. You stir it for about 10 minutes, let it simmer lightly and then take the milk off the stove to cool it down.

When the milk has cooled down a little, add the honey for the sweetness.
