Ketogenic bread belongs to the so-called ketogenic diet, often referred to as low carb. This is characterized by the following points:
Very low carbohydrate diet
Insulin release minimal
Fat burning greatly increased
Liver produces ketone bodies from fatty acids
Ketogenic bread not only has the advantage that it is very delicious. It also provides you with lots of healthy ingredients: healthy fatty acids for a balanced metabolism and especially lots of fibre for a regulated digestion. The dietary fibres are digested in the intestines by the intestinal bacteria, which produce vitamins that are important for your body. There are a number of ketogenic bread recipes and they differ considerably in taste and nutritional value. The following recipe is not cheap, because the ingredients are first choice and of course organic. But the result is a bread that has an unforgettable good taste and you can replace a whole meal with just 1-2 small rolls and are guaranteed to be more than full for hours. It also immediately feels good in the stomach!
The ingredients are: almond flour, arrowroot flour, coconut flour, chia seeds, psyllium husk powder, yeast, egg, salt.
If you first buy these ingredients in small quantities to try out, then it is really a bit expensive, but if you later buy larger quantities of the baking ingredients in stock, then the costs are relativized. You can find out how the bread is made at our Lifehack. But don’t forget: Looking at Lifehacks is only half the battle – copying is the main prize!
